Working group

A small group of people got together who had lots of experience in supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, or who had experience of hospital assessment services themselves and knew about the Care and Treatment Reviews. They got feedback from a wider group of people with learning disabilities, people with autism, family members, health and social care staff, commissioners, experts by experience and clinical advisers. They told us what they wanted to know more about. The group worked together to make the e-learning programme. People involved are:

  • Carl Shaw - Learning Disability Adviser- NHS England

  • Ben Briggs - Clinical Associate, NHS England

  • Tim Devanney - Workforce Specialist, Health Education England

  • Siobhan Gorry - Strategic Case Manager Children and Young People, NHS England
