How to access

In order to access any e-LfH programme, you will need an e-LfH account. If you do not have one, then you can register by selecting the Register button in the top right hand corner of the page.

If you already have an account with e-LfH, then you can enrol on to the Safeguarding Children and Young People programme by logging in to the e-LfH Hub, selecting My Account > Enrolment and selecting the programme. You can then access the programme immediately in the My e-Learning section.

How to license

In the event that you do not qualify for free access to the Safeguarding Children and Young People programme, you are able to license access through eIntegrity, a community-interest company established for this purpose.

You can check whether or not you qualify for free access by clicking on the ‘Register’ button above.

For more information on the licensing options available for the Safeguarding Children and Young People programme, please visit the eIntegrity website.

Existing e-LfH Users

The Safeguarding Children and Young People content has been embedded into a number of existing e-LfH programmes, so if you have access to any of the programmes below, you do not need to access Safeguarding Children and Young People directly:

  • Anaesthesia

  • Emergency Medicine

  • Foundation

If you do not have access to any of the programmes listed above please log in to the e-LfH Hub using your existing username and password and select which programmes you would like to access. View this help page for more information.

NHS healthcare staff in England

The Safeguarding Children and Young People programme is also available to NHS healthcare staff via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). Accessing this e-Learning via ESR means that your completions will transfer with you throughout your NHS career.
