Doctors In Training Online Generic Induction 2017 (DITOGI), consisting of 18 modules, has been developed through a multi-professional collaboration across the NHS West Midlands region.

All trainees in the West Midlands who have not already done so are required to complete this mandatory package. The modules are interactive and include an assessment. The course is accessible by desktop, laptop and tablet but not smartphone. The entire package takes approximately 9 hours to complete but can be completed in sessions as progress will be bookmarked.

Upon successful completion, a verifiable generic induction certificate, accepted by Trusts throughout the West Midlands, is generated. Links to further NHS resources are provided.
