Neurosciences

e-brain Neurosciences supports training and continuous professional development for neuroscience specialists. It is aimed primarily at clinical neuroscience trainees and consultants but there will also be much content of relevance to non-specialists.

The contributors to the e-learning form part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinical experts from across the neurosciences specialism.

e-brain imageThe curriculum for Neurosciences e-learning is separated into 12 areas:

  • Neuroanaesthetics
  • Neurology
  • Neuropathology
  • Neurophysiology
  • Neuropsychiatry
  • Neuroradiology
  • Neurorehabilitation
  • Neurosurgery
  • Paediatric Neurology
  • Pain medicine
  • Primary care neurology
  • Stroke medicine

This curriculum is broken down into approximately 900 sessions of e-learning, each taking around 20 minutes to complete.

The e-learning reflects the level of knowledge and competence required by a specialist in the Neuroscience field. It also complements other e-LfH e-learning projects including Anaesthetics, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgery.
