e-Face is a new and exciting online resource for oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS).
It is being developed by The Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in partnership with DH e-Learning for Healthcare.
e-Face is designed to support OMFS specialty trainees and oral surgery trainees completing their five year and three year training programmes respectively.
The e-learning will also be suitable for consultant/specialist surgeons and oral surgeons as part of their continuing professional development.
Around 1,000 easy to use e-learning sessions structured into 16 modules will cover all aspects of OMFS. The sessions will feature case studies, animation, video and interactive exercises and will be available to access wherever there is an internet connection.
e-Face will be available in 2011.
