e-GP image208 e-learning sessions now available

Over 16,500 people are now registered to use e-GP and the 208 e-learning sessions currently available. These include sessions on Child and Adolescent Health, Safeguarding Children & Young People, Evidence-based Practice, Women's Health, Sexual Health, Patient Safety, Palliative Care, Musculoskeletal Problems and Equality and Diversity.

e-GP gets the thumbs up

e-GP was officially launched at the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) on Thursday 16 July.

The well attended breakfast launch at the College included presentations by senior Primary Care representatives and demonstrations of the e-learning by the e-GP Project Team.

The National Clinical Director of Primary Care, David Colin-Thomé positively endorsed e-GP and its significant contribution to GP training. The RCGP Chairman, Professor Steve Field, said that e-GP will benefit every GP working in the NHS and will have a positive effect on the care provided for patients.

Did you know that completed e-GP sessions are now automatically entered into the learning log section of the RCGP trainee ePortfolio? Within 24 hours of completing an e-GP session a new learning log entry will be created populating the log with the name of the session and linking it to the appropriate curriculum statement heading.
