What is available through the e-LfH LMS and who is it available to?
All e-LfH e-learning content is available on the e-LfH LMS and is aimed at medical staff in specialties such as anaesthetics, primary care and radiology. Non-specialty content created by e-LfH such as Safeguarding Children and Young People is also available via the National LMS which is fully integrated with the Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
What is the National LMS (NLMS)?
The NLMS is an e-learning platform fully integrated with the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). It offers both local and national e-learning content free of charge to all NHS employees with a staff record on ESR in England. Being integrated with ESR means results can be recorded against an individual's portable employee record.
What do I need in order to access the e-LfH LMS?
You can access the e-LfH LMS from anywhere that has an internet connection and Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. However, for the best usability we recommend using Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0, 7.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher.

How can I get a username and password to access the learning materials?
To obtain a username and password please refer to the appropriate project pages on www.e-lfh.org.uk or use the Support Form.

How do I log in to the e-LfH LMS?
To log in to the e-LfH LMS please follow these five simple steps:
Step 1 – Access the e-LfH website by typing www.e-lfh.org.uk into your browser.
Step 2 – Click on the Log in to your e-Learning button in the top right-hand corner of the e-LfH home page.
Step 3 – Log in to the e-LfH Learning Reception page using your existing username and password.
Step 4 – Select e-LfH learning Management System from the left-hand menu then click on Take me to my e-learning.
Step 5 – If you are a first-time user, before you can access the e-LfH LMS, you will have to accept the e-LfH LMS Terms and Conditions by clicking on the Accept button.
If you have accessed the system before, you will be directed to the e-LfH LMS home page.
What are my login details to access the e-LfH LMS?
The only login details you need are your username and password for the e-LfH Learning Reception page. Once you are logged in you can access the e-LfH LMS directly.
What do I do if I can't log in to the e-LfH Learning Reception page?
If you have a problem logging in to the e-LfH Learning Reception page please use the Support Form.
Can I change my username and password?
Your username cannot be changed.
We strongly recommend that you change your password when you log in for the first time. This can be done by clicking on the Change password link in the top right-hand corner of the e-LfH Learning Reception page.
What if I forget my username or password?
If you have forgotten either your username or password, please use the Support Form.
Can I use the e-LfH LMS without an internet connection?
No. The e-LfH LMS is a web-based application and can only be used when your computer is connected to the internet.
Which browsers should I use to access and operate the e-LfH LMS?
Not all browsers and not all versions of browsers are compatible with the e-LfH LMS and its learning content.
We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0, 7.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher for best usability.
What happens to my learning if I lose the internet connection during a session?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that data will be saved. We recommend that you close the browser down in the normal manner and log back in again. If you become locked out, please wait for 20 minutes and your account will reset automatically.
How do I log out of the e-LfH LMS?
The Log out button is situated in the top navigation panel and it is accessible from every screen in the system.
To log out of the e-LfH LMS click on the Log out button. The next page you see confirms that you are now logged out.
You can now close this page and return to the e-LfH Learning Reception page which should still be open in a separate window or in a separate tab, depending on your browser settings.
