About the Gender Variance programme

Working in partnership with GIRES, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has created an e-learning resource to help professionals and families understand the needs of gender nonconforming young people. The Gender Variance e-learning programme is designed for healthcare staff of all levels and disciplines to understand how to help gender variant children, trans adolescents and their families. The programme consists of a single e-learning session which takes around 45 minutes to complete. The session is also suitable for support staff and people working in education.
