About the West Midlands Sepsis programme

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition which you as a healthcare professional whether community or hospital based have a responsibility to be aware of, understand, recognise, treat and document. By completing this learning resource you will be empowered to save lives by developing your knowledge about sepsis, clearly understanding your role and understanding the correct actions to take within your clinical environment.

This learning resource has been written to meet the needs of a wide variety of health care professionals such as health care support workers, registered practitioners and medical staff in both the community and hospital setting.
