Four new elearning sessions are now available in the Sepsis Awareness Programme. Two of the sessions are for Sepsis in Acute Care Settings.

These sessions include Adult Sepsis in Acute Care which gives a series of case studies to highlight different adult sepsis presentations in acute care and the recommended management in line with NICE guidance. The Learning Disability and Sepsis in Acute Care session is also now available. This session discusses the risk factors for sepsis in people with a learning disability, how to help minimise these risks and how to recognise and respond to possible signs of sepsis. Additionally, there are also two new sessions on Managing Maternal Sepsis During and Following Pregnancy. These sessions are essential for anyone working in frontline care as sepsis can be life threatening. Find out more now about all of the new sessions.
