SCRIPT: supporting safer prescribing practices by nurses

The SCRIPT elearning programme for nurses includes 22 modules in 3 categories, developed for qualified NHS nurses and midwives, and student nurses. Modules cover the principles of medicines management, managing risks related to medication use, and therapeutic topics, including:

  • Dose Calculations for Nurses
  • Medicines Management in Care Homes
  • Advanced Pain Management
  • Treatment of Infection
  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Drug Interactions
  • Special Patient Groups

Every module takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. All course materials have been authored by a team of expert healthcare professionals and are regularly reviewed and updated.
