About the Clinical photography on mobile devices - practical, legal and ethical requirements programme

This online course is intended for all healthcare professionals who may need to use a mobile device to capture clinical images as part of a teledermatology service. The keys to successful teledermatology are:
• ensuring we capture images that are effective for diagnosis
• ensuring we obtain and record legal consent to photography from patients.
• ensuring we store the images securely and legally

The course will –
• allow the student to learn all aspects involved in capturing quality images in a secure way, which are legally compliant and diagnostically valuable.
• provide the theory of image capture and test the knowledge throughout the module.

Primary audience

Healthcare professionals involved in image capture for Teledermatology
