MindEd Whole School and College Approach – Now Live!

Posted on: February 3rd, 2026 by Talisa Saini No Comments

We’re excited to share that the MindEd Whole School and College Approach elearning programme is now available!

This expertly co-produced resource supports schools and colleges in creating mentally healthy environments for learners, staff, and the wider community. Developed by mental health and education professionals, with inputs from people with lived experience, the content is practical, evidence-based, and aligned with guidance from the Department for Education and NHS England.

The approach promotes collective action to improve wellbeing, behaviour, and learning outcomes. It includes early intervention, staff development, and pupil-focused work, all underpinned by a positive, system wide universal focus on wellbeing.

The six elearning sessions include:

  1. Mental health and wellbeing in schools – Understanding  language, key concepts and how poor wellbeing may present.
  2. Improving mental health in your setting – Mapping your current landscape and identifying opportunities.
  3. Education policies and wellbeing strategy – Exploring relevant policies and their implications.
  4. Using the evidence base – Applying research to shape supportive environments.
  5. Who can help? – Identifying key roles in your workforce to support strategy delivery.
  6. Creating your strategy and implementation plan – Practical guidance to bring your vision to life.

Whether you’re a school or college leader, educator, or support staff, this resource is designed to help you embed a whole-school and college approach to mental health and wellbeing.
