Help us with the development of the Population Wellbeing Portal

Posted on: October 28th, 2019 by Alex Drinkall No Comments

Earlier in the year Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH) launched the Population Wellbeing Portal (PWP). The PWP offers free access to education, training and professional development resources, to help deliver improvements in public health and prevention. The portal provides a central location for numerous e-learning resources, reading material, guidance, toolkits and videos, factsheets and many more resources relating to population health.

HEE e-LfH is now looking for feedback from users of the portal to help support the development of this resource. If you have used the portal, we would really appreciate it if you could fill out a survey to share your thoughts, suggestions for improvement, and ideas for future content. The short survey should take less than five minutes to complete and feedback will be very beneficial for the development of the PWP.

Population Wellbeing Portal goes live!

Health Education England (HEE) has worked with Public Health England (PHE), the Academy for Public Health for London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex and the Faculty of Public Health to develop the Population Wellbeing Portal.

The Portal offers free e-learning resources, training and education in population health, wellbeing and prevention. The Portal provides a central location for free training and education resources relating to the health and wellbeing of the public including links to e-learning, toolkits, videos, webinars and various publications. Whatever your involvement with the public, these resources will support you in expanding your knowledge and skills to enable you to influence the health of the population.

The Population Wellbeing Portal brings together material from multiple sources. This includes resources from HEE, PHE, the Academy for Public Health for London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex, the Faculty of Public Health and many others. It links with All Our Health, PHE’s framework of evidence to guide healthcare professionals in preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing.
