Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) is currently undertaking an annual review of the Statutory and Mandatory elearning sessions.

The following sessions, and their associated assessments, have been updated:

  • Conflict Resolution – Level 1
  • Equality, Diversity & Human Rights

  • Infection Prevention and Control – Level 2
  • Resuscitation – Level 1
  • Resuscitation Adults – Level 2
  • Resuscitation Newborn – Level 2

This year’s review has focused upon the following:

  • Ensuring that the sessions are fully aligned to the Core Skills Training Framework (UK v1.6) following a reviewing by the Skills for Health team.
  • Updating assessment questions using data from a thorough analysis of the effectiveness of the questions.
  • Updating with any further recommendations from a team of subject matter experts and in response to user feedback.

Due to Covid-19 our timetable for this work has been delayed so we will update sessions as they are completed. We intend to complete all updates by October 2020.

Updates made to Statutory and Mandatory e-learning programme

Posted on: October 17th, 2018 by Alex Drinkall No Comments

Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) has re-designed the Statutory and Mandatory Training elearning sessions and eAssessments to be combined into a single package. This update will enable users to easily access both the knowledge content and e-Assessment in one session

As part of this update to the Statutory and Mandatory Training programme, we have also updated the Data Security Awareness Level 1 session and eAssessment to include General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and social care updates.
If you are part way through completing these programmes, please be aware that the previous courses will remain accessible within an archive folder until 31 March 2019; enabling users and local administrators to access historic certificates and report on learning history.

For those organisations currently using our AICC functionality to launch the sessions on their own Learning Management System, please note that the existing separate session links will remain active. New links to the combined sessions are now available.

For more information about the programme which covers a range of topics as well as Data Security Awareness including training on Fire Safety, Infection Prevention and Control and Moving and Handling please visit: https://www.e-lfh.org.uk/programmes/statutory-and-mandatory-training/.

Updates planned to Statutory and Mandatory e-learning programme

Posted on: September 25th, 2018 by Alex Drinkall No Comments

In 2017, Health Education England elearning for healthcare (HEE elfh) launched a series of elearning sessions and assessments called Statutory and Mandatory Training, which was based on learning outcomes outlined in the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework.

In response to user feedback, HEE elfh is re-designing the elearning sessions and eAssessments to be combined into a single package to enable users to easily access both the knowledge content and e-Assessment in one session.  As part of this update to the Statutory and Mandatory Training programme, HEE elfh is also updating the Data Security Awareness Level 1 session and eAssessment to include General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and social care updates.

The new programme will be made available from mid-October 2018.

If you are part way through completing these programmes, please be aware that the previous courses will remain accessible within an archive folder until 31 March 2019,   enabling users and local administrators to access historic certificates and report on learning history.

If you have any questions about the changes to this programme, please contact HEE elfh.
